It’s painfully apparent that this movie’s sole function is to be a Zack Efron automobile, but it’s not essentially a foul thing. Although not meant for the likes of me, I can see the appeal for a Zac Efron fan. His character ranges from cool kid to dorky dad, and it works.

The cast has acted brilliantly with both Mandelline and Callan giving amazingly matured performances. One particularly marvels at the solidity of the performances by the child duo. All in all a movie value a watch for everyone trying to be taught something from life.
